Sony Has Launched Xperia R1 Mid-range Smartphone

Sony – the renowned and world-leading multinational company has just announced its latest smartphone, touted as the Sony Xperia R1. The newly arrived smartphone is a mid-range handset and packs decent features and specs with an affordable price. Along with Sony Xperia R1, the company has also launched its Plus version.

The smartphone features a 5.2 inches TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen display that carries the support for 720 × 1280 pixels screen resolution. The phone runs on the seventh generation Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box.

To fuel the device, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and paired with 2GB of RAM. On the storage front, there is a 16GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded with the help of MicroSD card up to 128GB.

As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with Sony’s Predictive Hybrid Autofocus, which uses object tracking and motion prediction to focus on moving objects. While on the front of the device, there is an 8 megapixel front facing shooter with similar focus system for capturing selfies and making video calls.

To power the Xperia R1 smartphone, there is a 2620 mAh non-removable battery buried inside. Other features included dual SIM card, FM radio and for charging, there is USB type-C connectivity.
