Honor V9 Coming To Europe As The Honor 8 Pro

Huawei – the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has rumored to launch the Huawei Honor V9 smartphone in China on this Mobile World Congress MWC event 2017. However, it has also been rumored that the phone will sell internationally as an Honor 8 Pro name. But now the Chinese maker has been sending out invites for an April 5 event and launch the phone that event. We have heard rumors of a Europe release before, so it is only logical to assume so. And beside the confusing name change, there is actually a lot to like about the phone. Well, we don’t typically see many high-end devices offers from the online sales, value-first Honor division, but the Honor V9 is definitely an exception.


Honor 8 Pro Features

The smartphone features a metal unibody design with a larger 7.7 inch QHD display with the screen resolution of 2560 pixels by 1440 pixels. Well, it is expected that the coming phone will ditch the Home button on the front panel of the smartphone. Moreover, the iconic fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back side of the phone.

The phone runs on the latest generation Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with the Huawei’s own Emotion UI 5.0 layered on top. The phone is powered by the Kirin 960 octa core processor clocked at 2.4 GHz. Additionally, the newly revealed phone comes with two storage variants: either a 4GB of RAM plus 64GB of internal storage or a 6GB of high speed RAM along with 128 GB of internal storage.

The smartphone will sport a 12 megapixel plus 2 megapixel sensors on the rear side of the phone. The camera will capture DSLR like images and gives you stunning pictures. While on the front, there is an 8 megapixel front facing camera for selfie capturing.

The phone boasts a 3,900mAh battery and for the connectivity, the phone support dual SIM card, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2 as well as USB-C port for charging and data transfer.

There is no word about the pricing of the Honor 8 Pro smartphone. We have to wait until the phone will officialy launch.
