DJI said that Mavic Pro photography drones will finally begin shipping out to purchasers starting on Friday, October 21. DJI Mavic is a smaller, smarter and more powerful drone yet. With the ability to fold up into a water bottle sized.

Display And Weight
Measuring 3.27 ×7.8 ×3.27 inches (83 ×198 ×83mm; W × D × H) when folded up, the Mavic Pro looks downright adorable and has nearly the same size as a water bottle, making it small enough to bring with you everywhere. It has come with ultralight airframe that weights only 743g.
Shoot 4K Video
It boasts a camera that can shoot 4K video and captured at 30 frames per second or 1080 pixel footage at 96 frames per second. Mavic Pro has an integrated high-precision 3-axis mechanical camera stabilization system that supports snapping 12MP pictures through its f/2.2 lens, which giving you crystal clear photos and smooth videos, without loosing a single pixel.
Flying Longer And Obstacle Avoidance
Fly at up to 40 miles per hour (64kmh) or its maximum flight time is 27-minutes on one charge. Obstacle avoidance combined with sensor redundancy increase flight safety and reliability. It can see obstacles as far away as 49ft in front, so that it can fly up to 22mph (36kph) while avoiding the things it sees.
Mavic’s pocket-sized remote controller is DJI’s brand new OcuSync transmission technology. Its remote controller can be attached a smartphone, but the drone is fully controllable with just this remote. It has an LCD screen that displays your data.
The drone maker also introduced a new DJI Googles VR headset that displays an 85-degree view from the drone on a 1080pixel display. The video is received directly from the drone and does not go through the controller, and you can wear glasses while using the DJI Googles.
