Dell’s jaw-dropping new 30-inch OLED monitor is now on sale
You will be pleased to know that the most awaited Dell 30 inch UltraSharp OLED Monitor UP3017Q is now available to purchase directly from the official Dell website priced at $3499. It features a 30-inch panel with 3840 x 2160 resolution and an OLED panel. According to the company, this monitor provides ‘incredibly realistic imagery that is unlike any other panel’.
This is not a gaming monitor, so you’ll not find support for either FreeSync or G-Syncexpect. But it equipped with 3840×2160 resolution along with 30-inch display. However, the black to white response time is listed as being as low as 0.1ms, which seems very impressive and is set to run at 60 Hz (not 120 Hz as some outlets originally reported). This monitor is also capable of producing 1.07 billion colours. The manufacturer declares a dynamic contrast ratio 1,000,000:1 .
As far as the stand goes, the included stand supports tilt, pivot, and swivel adjustments, and appears to attach to a standard VESA mount. The monitor features two ports for connectivity, one HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.2, so you should have no trouble getting the native resolution/refresh rate running on either connection. As for coverage, Dell is claiming that compatibility with industry standards, including 100% AdobeRGB, 100% sRGB, 100% Rec. 709, 97.5% DCI-P3 and 85.8% Rec. 2020.
